The second game session. Mikael is treated by the Medicus and finds that he, his comrade, and the miner that was nearly taken were poisoned. The assailants are identified by the Medicus. Mikael is joined by Kal the Eladrin. They battle six shadows. The shadows are all slain. The Medicus treats Kal for drained strength. No miners are kidnapped. This is two failed missions for the invaders.

The first game session. Mikael Kesselbrock takes ship from Zenicce to the town of Quays on a nearby island. Mikael goes to The Twisted Serpent Mine and joins the guard force there. He battles a male yuan-ti and three tasloi. The yuan-ti is wounded but makes his escape into the jungle. The three tasloi are slain. No minors are kidnapped.
